Know before you go- ESPECIALLY BEFORE THE BIG DAY!
Permanent makeup refers to cosmetic tattoos that help you recreate a favorite makeup look in a semi-permanent manner for example micro blading, lip blushing, permanent eyeliner, freckle tattoos, etc are just some examples of permanent makeup.
Permanent makeup is different then semi permanent makeup because permanent makeup is pigment deposited deeper into the dermal layer of the skin using a minimum of three prong needles it is a more aggressive application resulting in more pain and potential scarring. It can last between 5-10 years. The results are harsh and irreversible. Due to the body’s chemistry of the skin there is a hight chance the pigment will change colors over time. Semi permanent pigments that’s are deposited very superficially into the skin using only one prong needles. It can last between 1-3 years touch ups are necessary to keep up the color vibrancy and shape definition. The pigment is deposited between the epidermis and dermis so the pigment will fade as your skin naturally exfoliates. The color will lighten and fade out before it gets a chance to change to a primal color like blue or red.
